This four-mile out and back route follows Center Canyon through aspen forest and meadows of columbine. Wildlife is common, including the occasional rattlesnake, so keep a watchful eye. The first two miles follow an old jeep road up the canyon and difficulty is easy to moderate. The upper two miles are more strenuous and travel a narrow trail that can be hard to follow at times; difficulty on this portion is moderate. Center Canyon is located approximately eight miles southeast of Heber City on US Hwy 40 and is well-signed with pull-through parking.
