The ride travels through conifer and aspen forest and accesses some of Wasatch County's most scenic viewpoints. Park at the park visitor center and follow the road to the left as it climbs through Snake Creek Canyon to the ridgeline. The road then travels along the ridgeline, descending toward Cascade Springs, with Mount Timpanogos towering above and overlooking beautiful Heber Valley. Take the Cascade Springs road east to Midway and follow Midway streets back to the park entrance. The route primarily follows gravel roads and some vehicular traffic should be expected. Several side trails and jeep roads branch off this route for those wishing to do a little exploring. Check in at the park visitor center for detailed maps and exact distances.
