  Heber Valley Loop

This 26-mile loop follows paved roads through downtown Heber City, out to the farmlands of Charleston and through the Swiss Village of Midway. This is a popular route with local road bikers, but can also be a great ride on a mountain bike. The ride can be started from any point on Main Street in Heber City. Follow Main Street south through Heber City to the stoplight and junction with US Hwy 189. Take US Hwy 189 West to the Charleston turnoff. Follow this road through Charleston to a "T" intersection near Deer Creek Reservoir. Turn right on this road and follow it into Midway. At Main Street in Midway, turn right and follow Midway Lane back to Main Street in Heber City. Traffic may be heavy on portions of this route.

  Wasatch Mountain State Park Trails

Within just a few minutes of downtown Heber, you can be biking through the scenic farmlands of Heber Valley or on a vigorous hill climb through aspen forest. The Valley Loop and Heber City rides begin right on Main Street in Heber and primarily stick to the pavement. Center Canyon and Clegg Canyon are single track trails that begin in Daniels Canyon east of Heber City on US Hwy 40. The Heber Ranger District Office on US Hwy 40 southeast of Heber (435-654-0470) has more information on the Daniels Canyon trails and other area recreation information.
