This route snakes through a narrow valley crossing a shallow stream several times, making for a wet, but fun ride. It's a favorite with kids and a great ride for beginners! Bring binoculars to look for deer, hawks, and other wildlife and don't miss the beaver dams along Willow Creek. The entire loop is 9 miles and a portion of the route is single-track. To access the trailhead, turn off US Hwy 40 in Strawberry Valley 19 miles southeast of Heber City at Strawberry River road. Approximately one-mile up the road, turn right onto Willow Creek Road and travel a mile to the trailhead where a parking area is provided. Follow the trail along Willow Creek to the intersection with Forest Road #092. Take the left fork, over a short but challenging hill-climb, into Bjorkman Hollow. A quick downhill ride rejoins the Strawberry River Road, where a left turn makes for an easy return to the trailhead. Willow Creek trail is open to non-motorized travel and the rest of the route is open to motor vehicles.
