  Co-op Creek

This out-and-back trail follows Co-op Creek through a beautiful conifer forest where wildlife is common; watch for elk, moose, and deer. The trail is approximately 4.5 miles one-way making it a moderate hike. Approximately 24 miles southeast of Heber on US Hwy 40, turn left on Co-op Creek road and travel about 3 miles to the trailhead. A dead-end turnoff on the left accesses the trailhead and limited parking is available. Co-op Creek Trail is open to only non-motorized use.

Strawberry Valley offers a variety of hiking trails through conifer and aspen forest or along the reservoir shoreline. Cool summer temperatures in this high mountain valley make for some delightful hikes. For detailed maps and recreation information stop in at the Strawberry Visitor Center, located just off US Hwy 40, 23 miles southeast of Heber City (435-548-2321). At the Visitor Center a short, boardwalk nature trail follows the Strawberry River and offers excellent opportunities to view fish and wildlife.
