  Mill Hollow Trail

This three-mile loop trail is accessible from Mill Hollow Campground and offers some scenic views across the forest canopy, overlooking Mill Hollow Reservoir. Wildlife is abundant in these woods and most of the hike is in the trees, making it a perfect cool getaway in the summer. The trail is easy to moderate and the distance makes it a great hike for anyone. Access the trailhead adjacent to site #17 in the campground. To reach Mill Hollow Campground, follow Utah Hwy 35 east of Woodland to the Mill Hollow turnoff (Forest Road #054) and follow this road to the reservoir and campground.

East of Heber Valley, the mountains rise over 10,000 feet, vegetated with conifer and aspen opening onto grassy meadows dotted with wildflowers most of the summer. Numerous trails wind through these high elevation woods and meadows, offering some unbeatable day-hikes and a few opportunities for overnight backpack trips. For detailed maps of this area and recreation information, contact the Heber Ranger District (435-654-0470), located on US Hwy 40 just east of Heber City.
