This 1.2 mile trail winds its way along Pine Creek, traversing several boulder ridges, through the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains. A variety of plants can be seen along this trail as well as an abundance of wildlife. A trail guide that identifies plants, wildlife, and geologic formations along the trail is available from the state park visitor center. This trail climbs just over 200 feet in elevation and is accessible from the campground, making it a perfect walk for campers spending a weekend in the park. Several short trails spur off the Pine Creek trail to make a loop across the creek on the return hike. This well-maintained trail requires a small day-use fee; parking and restrooms are available.
